Other ways to help us

Even if you are not in a position to donate or fundraise for us - there are other ways you can support our work.

  • If you're thinking of getting rid of your old car - it could raise money for us. Visit the Give A Car website here and find out how your vehicle could raise a donation for us. The organisation will arrange to pick up your car, take it to auction and then donate the proceeds (after admin costs) to us. They will also take ride-on lawnmowers, farm vehicles, vans, motorbikes and lorries.
  • Another way to support our work, which won't cost you an extra penny, is to sign up to Give as you Live. It's a way of donating money to charity whenever you shop online. BWBF is registered with the organisation, which works with retailers to donate a percentage of every purchase to good causes. There are more than 4,000 popular online stores signed up, including Tesco, eBay, John Lewis, Boots and Amazon - so you're probably already shopping at some of them! All you need to do is register and choose to support us and then access your favourite retailer via Give as you Live. Find out more here.
  • You can also support BWBF by buying through our eBay site. We have a range of products for sale including men's and women's clothing, toys, games and accessories. All the items are kindly donated to us by our supporters and profits from all sales benefit the charity.
  • BWBF is signed up to Fundraising Stamps - which means your postage stamps can raise money for us. All you need to do save all the stamps from your mail and send them to British Wireless for the Blind Fund, 59 Mitre Copse, Bishopstoke, Eastleigh, Hants, SO50 8QE. They need to be cut out with no more than 1cm of envelope remaining around them. To find out more about the organisation, click here.
