On receipt of your registration we will send you your free QSL cards, more of which will be available after the event on receipt of your log, should you need them. As an alternative to your sponsorship form (or as well as, if you like) you can set up your own sponsorship page on the Bmycharity website which your supporters can log on to. Just go to www.bmycharity.com/blind; all the instructions are on the site. If you require further information or have any queries in regard to the event please do not hesitate to contact transmission@blind.org.uk. Just ask your friends, family, work-mates - anyone in fact - to sponsor you for the contacts you make in the 48-hour period. There are special trophies to be won that you can display at home or in your club house for the year following their presentation*. Trophies are given for individuals and clubs/groups. There are two in each category; one for the most contacts made and the other for the most amount of money raised for the charity. Everyone – club or individual – that raises more than £10 for BWBF will receive a special certificate acknowledging their help and support – you can also get a certificate if you make a personal donation of £10 or more to the Fund. The competition is open to everyone but to qualify for one of the trophies you must be a current member of the RSGB and resident in the UK. If you live overseas or don’t belong to the Society do please still join in the fun. The more funds raised for BWBF the more people we can help. Don’t leave it too late! You can start your preparations for Transmission at any time. The competition rules are here and you can also download and print as many copies of the *Overseas participants and non-members of the RSGB do not qualify for the award of a trophy but are still eligible to receive certificates, free QSL cards etc. |

A Special Thank You! The Radio Society of Great Britain (RSGB) has, over the years, been wonderfully helpful to the Fund in running Transmission and helping with promotion. They’ve helped us to rewrite the rules for the competition and advised us on a range of technical matters. |
