Transmission 2013 Winners
The Central Radio Amateur Circle, based in the West Midlands, has won both trophies for the annual Transmission event, in which amateur radio Clubs compete to make the greatest number of contacts and raise the greatest amount of money.

FROM CRYSTAL SET TO THE INTERNET - EXHIBITION LAUNCH
The Mayor of Maidstone, Clive English, opened BWBF's exhibition "From Crystal set to the Internet" at the Kent History and Library Centre in Maidstone on the 8th August. The launch event was well attended and the exhibition received very some positive comments.
Blind people in the Midlands benefit from charity lottery funding
British Wireless for the Blind Fund was awarded over £4,000 by People's Postcode Trust, a grant-giving charity, funded entirely by players of People's Postcode Lottery.
